WINES WITH SCHIAVA
Schiava, or Vernatsch, is the most widely planted grape of any type in Trentino-Alto Adige. Typically, the wines derived from this grape are medium bodied and have little tannin on the back end of the palate. They are meant to be drunk in their youth, and when well made can offer spice and light earth tones with the bright red fruits typical of its profile.
