Lionel Cousin, born in Cognac France, has adopted the French traditional ways for vine growing (followed by Carlo Ferrini) and for its vinification.

The vines disposed in "ritocchino" are aligned 2 meters x 0,80,

with a total of 6250 plants per hectare; the cord is 50 cm high from the ground and in the wine cellar are used only French barriques.

Natural fertilizers , treatments for "poltiglia bordolese" and sulfur, bio-dynamic preparations, watching for favorable days for agricultural operations, ensure the good state of the plants and optimal success of the wine making process.

The yields are variable, usually reduced a lot because every grape - or part of - not perfectly healthy or mature, is eliminated.
