ABOUT CHATEAU DE TRINQUEVEDEL
A viticultural domaine since before the French Revolution, this attractive soft stone château with its smart white shutters stands a little to the east of the village, on the way towards Rochefort-du-Gard.The property comprises about 30 hectares (74 acres) of vines.
The wine is made from all nine varieties allowed, led by the Grenache, Cinsault, Clairette, and the remainder made up in order of importance by the Carignan, Bourboulenc, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Calitor.
The juice is fermented at a cool temperature, with bottling in the spring.
